President and Chief Executive Officer
Paul Foeckler, President and Chief Executive Officer, is an executive who combines strategic acumen, creativity and a proven track record of growing revenues through groundbreaking product developments. He joined Line 6 in 2011 as Senior Vice President of Products and Marketing.
He previously served as Vice President of Creative Professional Products and Solutions for Avid Technology, where he was responsible for the development of Pro Tools® and Media Composer® products. Prior to this, Mr. Foeckler held several positions at Avid, including executive roles in sales and marketing for Digidesign and M-Audio. With a passion for creative customers and making music, he is committed to helping Line 6 bring artists and technology together through inspired product innovations.
Chief Operations Officer
Joe Bentivegna, Chief Operations Officer, is responsible for building the teams that manage Line 6’s supply chain, providing outstanding customer service and delivering world-class products. He was most recently Executive Vice President of Operations and services for Equallogic, a company in the high-capacity storage space subsequently acquired by Dell.
Prior to Equallogic, Mr. Bentivegna held several positions during his 16-year tenure at Avid Technology, during which time Avid grew from a small, vertically focused video company to a leader in digital media and audio. His most recent positions included Chief Operating Officer for the Video Division, President and General Manager of Avid Technology Asia, Vice President of Worldwide Operations, and Vice President of European Operations and Services. Mr. Bentivegna brings a proven track record of success to help lead Line 6 through its continued growth.
Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Michel Doidic, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for providing technical vision and leadership for Line 6 products and technologies. He also serves on the Line 6 Board of Directors. Mr. Doidic co-founded Fast Forward Designs in 1985, which became Line 6, Inc. 11 years later. Prior to Fast Forward Designs, he worked at Oberheim Electronics, Inc. as a senior design engineer, where he developed a number of the company’s successful synthesizers. Prior to Oberheim, Mr. Doidic worked in the keyboards and synthesizers technical services group for Piano Center, a distributor of musical instruments in France.
Mr. Doidic's expertise in technology has resulted in numerous successful products and the co-invention of a patent in the field of digital modeling. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University Institute of Technology in Angers, France.
Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer
Marcus Ryle, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, is responsible for driving innovation in Line 6 products as well as the way the company approaches the market. He also serves on the Line 6 Board of Directors. Mr. Ryle co-founded Fast Forward Designs in 1985, which developed groundbreaking products for Alesis, Digidesign and other companies before becoming Line 6 in 1996.
Mr. Ryle's long history and expertise in technology and product development have resulted in the co-invention of 17 US patents. In 2012, Mr. Ryle was inducted into the first annual Keyboard Hall of Fame. He is a member of the Audio Engineering Society and has served on many industry standards and advisory committees. A classically trained pianist, Mr. Ryle has played keyboards and/or created sounds for several motion picture and television soundtracks, as well as numerous professional recording artists including Barbra Streisand, Olivia Newton-John, Christopher Cross, Chicago, Chaka Khan and Lee Ritenour.
Mary Ellen Broganer
Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance
Mary Ellen Broganer, Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance, is responsible for leading the company’s worldwide finance, accounting and legal organizations. Prior to joining Line 6, Ms. Broganer was most recently the Vice President of Finance for Business Units and Sales at Nuance Communications Inc., a leading provider of speech and imaging solutions for healthcare, enterprise and consumer markets. Previously, Ms. Broganer was Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Avid Technology Inc., a world leader in digital media creation tools for film, video, audio and animation. She also held a series of finance positions at Digital Equipment Corporation in the marketing, manufacturing, engineering and corporate functions. She started her career in the banking industry.
Ms. Broganer holds a Master of Accounting degree from Bentley University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of New York at Albany.
Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Jim Atkinson, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, oversees all aspects of Line 6 sales. Mr. Atkinson has more than 20 years of experience in senior sales management roles in the technology industry, where he has built highly successful sales, distribution and sales support organizations.
Prior to Line 6, Mr. Atkinson held the title of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at North Plains, a digital media asset management company. He previously served as Vice President of Sales, Americas, at Avid, where managed a team of over 120 sales and pre-sales technical personnel that delivered over $340 million in annual revenue. Before that, he held senior roles within Aspera, Autodesk, Alias and number of other creative media companies, giving him broad experience in sales, marketing and business development. He is also an active musician.
Senior Vice President of Administration and Human Resources
Susan Wolf, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration, is a principal executive responsible for the long-term organizational strategy and the direction of two departments. As a founding employee, Ms. Wolf served as Line 6’s Chief Financial Officer from 1996 until 2000. From 1985 to 1996, Ms. Wolf was Chief Financial Officer of Fast Forward Designs. Prior to Fast Forward Designs, Ms. Wolf served as the credit manager for a Los Angeles-based hotel.
As an admirable vocalist, Ms. Wolf has extensive professional music experience. She has recorded and performed for several years in the Los Angeles area. She was also lead singer and keyboard player for a Los Angeles-based band for 15 years.
