Model Packs increase the number of Amp or FX Models of a GuitarPort, TonePort, PODxt, PODxt Live or PODxt Pro, for a wider variety of tone possibilities. When a particular tone in the library relies on a Model available in one of these packs, you'll see symbol(s) to indicate which Packs: MS (Metal Shop), CC (Classics Collection), FX (FX Junkie), and PP (Power Pack).

The models within the FX Junkie Model Pack are already included in PODxt Live, and offered for purchase to add-on to GuitarPort, TonePort, PODxt and PODxt Pro.

Variax is the uniquely flexibile guitar from Line 6. Our Vetta II amplifier includes a digital connection for the Variax that lets you store settings for both your amp and your guitar in the Vetta II so that when you call up a Vetta Channel Memory your amp and guitar can change sounds together. Vetta II Tones marked with this guitar symbol include this Variax data.

For each tone in the library, you'll see an icon for either a single coil or humbucker pickup. This tells you whether the tone is best for use with a single coil pickup or a humbucker, so you can select the appropriate pickup on your guitar when using this tone.

Attention POD 2.0, Flextone and HD147 owners... Your hardware doesn't do Stomp effects, so you'll hear something different than what was intended. Try increasing the Drive or choose a higher gain Amp Model to get the right sound. The other aspects of the sound should translate as expected, so you'll at least get a great starting place for tweaking.

*FIRMWARE 3.60* I have created a Bon Jovi patch that covers many of their famous tunes. While it's not an exact replica, I've tried to incorporate many of the guitar models that Richie Sambora has used in the past. For the main amp, I chose the Diezel amp as it has a unique character on Helix. Additionally, I've designed this patch to be used as a Wet/Dry patch which I believe is optimal for recording. However, if you plan on using this patch for live performances, you may need to turn down the reverb. This patch is perfect for any Bon Jovi cover bands out there.
Acoustic (Snap1) – Lets face it, there is no replacing an actual acoustic but in a live context with a band, you can get away with playing songs like Wanted Dead or alive, Living in Sin, You Had me from Hello and Wild is The Wind to name a few.
Clean (Snap2) – Great for almost all Sambora's clean sounds such as Dry County, This Ain't a love song and I'll be there for you.
Crunch (Snap3) – Can cover almost all albums. I especially like it for songs like Keep the faith, Raise you Hands, Something to Believe in and Have a nice day.
Hi Gain (Sanp 4) - Can also cover almost all albums even those of Phil X but this patch was inspired more so for Sambora's tone. Use the "Fake Box" for songs like Living on a Prayer, It's my life and Bounce. This patch can also cover many of the heavier songs of Sambora such as If I was your mother and Fear.
My Guitar Setup: Basswood Ibanez, X2n Bridge, HS-2 Middle & PAF Pro Neck with Series, Parallel, Split Coils and Out of Phase. So, for those that have a similar setup, you can really take advantage of the tones. For those that don’t, you will have to tweak.
Stomp on Trem/Vibe for songs like In These Arms
Stomp on the Pitch for You give love a bad name
Stomp on the boost for Soloing.
Also, I've added other models that could not be assigned on the 4 Snaps 4 Stomp layout's so, you'll have to menu dive.
***Aftermarket IR IS REQUIRED***. If the link below does not work, look on YouTube for Leon Todd "HX STOMP | 5 Of My Favorite Amps". In his comments click on the "Presets" for the IR.
Try to download:
